Yoga Classes
November Classes:
Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm!
Mondays we take it easy and Wednesdays are more of a flow based class. All levels are always welcome!
Class Descriptions
ALL CLASSES ARE ON A DONATION BASIS.
Yin: A slow-paced style of yoga holding poses for longer periods of time stretching into the connective tissue of the body. Great for beginners! Great for athletes! Great for men!
Flow: This vinyasa flow is suitable for all levels. We will connect breath with movement for balance, flexibility, stability, and self growth. During this one hour class there will be sections of breath work, movement, and meditation.
Yoga Series - Mindful Movement: A balance of foam rolling, yin, and flow working specifically into integrating yoga into everyday life to create a more flexible and open state of body and mind. This series can be attended all times during the month for full benefit building upon each class or as a single class. Great for beginners and all levels.
Gentle Yoga: This class is for all levels and will include a variety of adaptable practices to focus on mental and physical strength for the mind and body. We will gently incorporate breath work and functional movement to grow stable and strong. Gentle yoga is for every body!
Happy Hour: Yoga class? I thought you asked do I want a glass?! The happiest hour of your week! Come for an all levels class followed by drinks at the studio. Wind down from the work week and gear up for the weekend! Select beverages will be provided for a donation or please feel free to bring your own!
Mobility: Mobility is the ability to move or be moved freely and easily. Have a tight spot? Stiff shoulder, hips, or back? This is the class for you! Using yin yoga and foam rolling we will target areas of the body which need a little extra attention. Yin yoga poses are held up to several minutes to increase circulation and flexibility in the joints and connective tissue. Foam rolling is a self-myofascial release technique. This user friendly class is a must for all bodies and can be tailored for your specific needs.
Flow + Restorative: Treat yourself to 90 minutes of focus and calm. The first part of class will be flow based followed by restful and soothing restorative poses which will use blankets, bolsters, and props to allow your body and mind to relax and release.
Open Studio: During this time we encourage you to bring to the studio anything you’d like specific help with. Come anytime during open studio for a solo practice or to engage with others.
Runday: Join us for a group walk or run followed by a tasty breakfast type snack and coffee.
